Grading Policy

  • Short Stories (2 x 100 points each) = 200
  • Exercises (6 x 10)=60
  • Query letters (20 points each) = 40
  • Participation (Including written reflections/discussions) = 100 – lose of one letter grade for each class missed after three absences.
  • Final Portfolio = 25 points

TOTAL = 425

Grading Scale
Your final grade will be based on an average of the grades you have earned:
90-100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
60-69% = D
59 and below = F

*All assignments must be completed to earn a passing grade in the course.
